Immortal

Written by Jacob Ibrag

His smile, it lit up her soul.

She was addicted and wouldn’t

have minded an overdose. It was

the kind of addiction that carried

a duality. His arms fit around her

waist, perfection. This had to be,

this reality was everything. The

way his breath danced around her

lips, the way his laugh calmed her

paranoid finger tips. He guided her

through the darkness, his voice was

her everlasting light. Doubts would

never again cloud her mind, his vows

made sure to carry throughout all

time. Expiration dates loomed over

all, yet this love was, is immortal.
