She tip toed out the door as the sun
bled into the bedroom. Mistakes are for
weak skinned, this was a fated bump in.
A reminder, ‘he wants more than I can
give him.’ Complicated. Staring at the
elevator button, biting her lower lip. She
wanted nothing more than to inhale his
morning odor. Disgustingly addicted.
Numbing ambidextrous logic.

Okay, so I had to look up ambidextrous because as far as I knew it just meant someone who was neither right-handed nor left just good with both so I was confused by the last line. Then I found this definition: “Marked by deliberate deceptiveness especially by pretending one set of feelings and acting under the influence of another.” And that makes perfect sense with the poem. So thank you for teaching me a new use of the word! Also, I enjoyed reading it 🙂
