We Can

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Want to retire each one of my desires,

eventually. Not just yet, young blood runs

through these veins. We’re just getting started.

Painting souls with flaws, perfections overrated.

Falling fast without a worry. Wings tucked behind

our backs, waiting till inches off the floor. Just a bit

longer, give them a show. Give them what they want,

all you can eat  buffet of doubt. We’ll burst into the

atmosphere and do it all over again, because we can.
