Reignited

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Open your eyes. Yesterday, a part

of you died. A funeral was held in your

mind. A miracle came soon after. Rebirth

occurred as you drifted into the light. Your

eyelashes scratched the surface of the pale door

that stood in the middle of nothing. You were

suppose to go inside, yet you denied it. One

foot went through, your body declined it.

‘I’m not done yet.’ You’re reignited.

  9. Each of us dies every single day, so a better, newer version can be in the place of our former selves…very thought provoking.
