You achieve a remarkable combination of words and images. Together, they are very powerful, more so than either would be alone. Have you thought about a book?
We don’t always know how exactly to respond, and at what times, to anyone or any situation. This also tallies with the other person’s needs. How do we know that by not responding, the other person gained more. As in life being accepted as well as being rejected both have lessons in their own ways. If you have any regrets I don’t think you need to have them. As you responded, or not is, how you knew best at that time !!!
