Written by Jacob Ibrag
When I was a little kid, grownups would
always tell me that if I followed a narrow path, good
things would wait for me in the end. And so I tried by adopting
a tunnel vision inspired mind. Of course in the early years it wasn’t
that easy. When my friends were finding themselves in the depths of
pleasure, I was diving into an educational lecture. Sure the work would
pay off and I’d go onto enjoy a fulfilling career, yet I’d always look back
and ask ‘what if?’ A wife, several kids and a school of grandchildren
later and I still mutter those two simple words every now and
then. As I reach the twilight of this narrow path, I find
myself wondering why I keep looking back.
You had doubts but you ignored them; you had already chosen your path and that’s life. With all the choices we make there isn’t such thing as a life without regrets -to me anyway…

Profoundly sad but no matter what you do, there is always the question of what would’ve happened “if”. I believe it’s part of the human condition to wonder such things.

This is how I’m feeling. Then I realized the choices I was making were wrong. I have to take a break and just figure things out.

As human beings the question can arise, “What if” from time to time. In my opinion the path we have chosen ultimately is the path that is meant for us. Once we realise this, we don’t have to keep on looking back and wasting our valuable time, but we should move on to the future to a better place in life, to be happier and peace at heart. I wish you the very best of luck in achieving your future goals in life. Much Love and Light from me π β€
