Written by Jacob Ibrag
Mind molten in frustration, she felt guilty for leading
him to yet another dead end situation. ‘I never meant for us
to get lost in this maze. I’m sorry for lying, for convincing you to
come with me.’ Kicking the dirt, she’d miss and hit a stubborn stone
instead. Falling hard against the wall, she’d barely catch herself and
slid down against it. Taking a seat by her side, he slowly lifted her
chin and promised, ‘I have you and you’ll always have me. No
turn can be wrong, no matter how many we make.’
