Written by Jacob Ibrag
‘And then the hat became a
permanent fixture on his body, and the
stars had finally crowned the new emperor of the
ninth galaxy.’ Waiting for a reaction from her friend, she
realized he was gone to never was I ever listening land. She went
on for minutes making up stories to see if he’d finally latch on to her off
the rails imagination, and he didn’t. Chopping at his arm that held his resting
head, he finally woke up from his self induced trance. ‘What’s wrong with
you? Use your words, I’m listening.’ Frustrated with his frustration, she
told him to grow a pair and introduce himself to the girl standing
at the mirror. ‘You always do this, salivate from a far and
fabricate fictional scenarios to say something. All it
takes is an honest hello, possibility is created
with the birth of conversation.’
Marvelous piece
