Separate

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Yesterday I opened my eyes and

you seemed farther away. Our friends say

I shouldn’t worry, yet I feel the need to stay awake.

As world’s between us keep forming, I’m beginning to

realize my mistake. I manifested a universe where our

relationship used to be. Can hardly see your face as

the space between us continues to separate.

  12. Sometimes I find a separation to be a liberation
that occurs out of my own hands – As if space
has done dropped the ax for me and all I have
    is to go on breathing…

    You’re writings always calm me
    Thanks for sharing,

  13. I’m just and OCD wreck looking to happen, forgive me, but it seems the shape of the piece should be pyramidal, as shape informs the action of the piece, right? …were it rounding down under, they’d be coming back together?

  14. I didn’t quite get this line- “As world’s between us keep forming”. World’s what forms between the two? or is it “As worlds between us keep forming”? I’m really sorry if this is a stupid question.
