Don’t know where you are, but I know we

aren’t too far apart. This air isn’t meant to last and

so we breathe because we know we can. I don’t know

where you are, but I hope you’re happy. Sweet oxygen,

breathing while we can in this shared atmosphere.

You aren’t here anymore, but I

know you’re watching. Rest in peace

Mike, you will never be forgotten.

  2. When friends die sometimes it pierces are souls. Very well written. I envy people like you who say more than me using fewer words. Keeping your friend and you in my prayers.

  6. Beautiful poem❤. I haven’t lost a friend but my best friend is so distant I feel like she’s not here anymore. If I was a better friend maybe she would be closer to me. But I guess selfishness is the definition of the real me. 💔
