Lemonade

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Clues hiding in places long before

we got together. Swear I didn’t put them

there, disregard the ink on my fingers. It was

the vessel, no association. Please don’t read into

them, or better yet pretend they were never here.

‘Bitter sweet lemonade. Drinking every last bit,

all while knowing that it’s making me sick.’

  2. Great meaning behind those beautifully chosen words. I find myself ignoring a lot my gut and then short after I regret it. We live and we learn. Well done!
