And so we try to make sense of
events that breach our ideas and notions.
Strays. A path towards what has been for years
before hearing of the unknown. ‘Stay. We know
where we’re going.’ Who’s told you? Explorers
with fixed stars in the sky. Multiplying
only to ultimately divide.
wow. I loved this. powerful.

Interesting. I think I’ve figured out most of the lines or possible meanings, but I don’t get the last bit. “Multiplying only to ultimately divide.” Who is multiplying and how is it dividing? Interesting poem though. I liked the contrast between “explorers” and “fixed stars”. And also mathematically, the contrast between “multiplying” and “dividing”. It’s interesting how opposites lead to each other or are correlated.
It is true that we rather not explore new paths or consider notions different to ours. We’re creatures of habit and have a fear of the unknown. So we rather be in fear or contempt of the unknown rather than being curious and open-minded.
Thought-provoking. π

Thank you very much. π
Sometimes it feels as if we are multiplying whether that be biologically or intellectually, only to divide and lose track of the source of our beginning. It’s not a good or bad thing. It just is and lives within everything else that is and isn’t happening.

Oh, okay. Awesome. Like multiplying our knowledge, but it leading to us being more divided, for example. Great stuff π
