You swallow words of honesty. All signs present.
Narrow road leading towards a dead end. Faster. Giving
space for delusion. Faster. Rejecting the possibility of hurting
the one close to you. Faster. It’s better this way, you think.
Faster. Locking eyes with the one you’ve led. Crash.
A man akin to lying, perhaps.

Thanks Becca :D. I think trying to write everyday really helps harness creativity in a consistent manner. I always get excited to see what my unconscious is up to.

That is great advice! Sometimes I don’t write because I’m not inspired, but I think it definitely is important to just write anyway. I will certainly try to do that more. Thanks!

Wow, this one is so powerful. Lies certainly become the walls that will inevitably close in on us.

Sometimes, we get so caught up, that we just, rushed through everything in our lives, either because we’re, running from something in our pasts, or that we simply, can’t slow down, and when we finally DO slow down, it’s usually, too late…

I love the way your poem is structured. The way the lines are longer in some places and shorter in others is quite pleasing to the eye. The contrast between longer sentences and the short one word ‘sentences’ is quite clever.
