Written by Jacob Ibrag
Moving places, from void to filled. They
call it the great escape, avoiding the emptiness. Not so.
Followers among them all. Disbanding from detail to become
part of a whole. I see through the bars they call captivity,
living my freedom while they breathe to be led.
Eloquent. Freedom is perception, and an individual experience.

Excellent. Does your poetry fill your void?

Thanks George. Poetry and creative writing in general help me unfold the inner contents of my unconscious. Fill? No. Explore? Absolutely.

Wow! This is impressive! Freedom is such an internal and personal experience, also so much born out of choices!

You are very welcome. I am glad to have found your work π My just posted poem has a resonating idea of following one’s true voice vs. following only where led. That is why your post got me very elated.
