Written by Jacob Ibrag
The woman by the sea lend her eyes
to the blind man. She drenched his creative
psyche of all the ocean’s different shades of blue
and green. Whispers of the waves married well to the
woman’s tales and the man embraced it all. Tears were
shed from his face to hers. He felt so alone for all of
these years and there she was lovingly taking him in.
It was no wonder the two would marry and have four
kids. After she passed, the darkness crept in once more.
It didn’t last at all, those kids lifted his soul. Yet his
heart would forever yearn for the woman by
the sea, ‘no voice will ever shed light to
my eyes like yours did for me.’
