You’re scratching through

the surface of my flesh, seeking

to spread through me without my

consent. ‘I’ll make you better,’ you

whisper. ‘You’ll never touch

me again,’ I swear.

    Succinctly relevant to my life. Also, stylistically, I love the way you play with line breaks. It adds a lot.
