Something is going to wake you up, and it won’t be me,

and we won’t be us. Something is going to take you apart, and it

won’t be quick, and I won’t be there to stop it. Something is going to

tell you that your heart is yours, locked in that chest that you’ve kept

me away from. Something is going to override the letters of your

name from my lungs, so I can breathe, so I can move along.
