Side Effects

Written by Jacob Ibrag

He wants to be at his peak. Ms. Instant

Gratification scratched at the door. She

whispered through the cracks, ‘let me in.’

Tempted. He did. She grabbed his arm

and planted a pill in his hand. ‘This will

take you where you desire. Kill the long

road. With just one, it’ll all be yours.’

Fine print. Side effects include, loss

of control, dizziness to common

sense, and numbness in the

heart. ‘All you need

is one.’ Ingest?
