Senseless

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Reckless, pounding your fists onto

Earth’s elements. Staring at the dirt

underneath your nails, you begin to

accept that none of this was supposed to

last. Empires had to fall so new ones could

rise from their ashes. Failed ideas evolving

to give birth to euphoric reactions. Broken

back and all, tasting the dirt in order to

appreciate the full extent of your senses.

‘I used to be so senseless.’
