Fix

Written by Jacob Ibrag

I’m tired of meeting people

that are waiting for me to

fix them. ‘Barely know your

name and now you need me

to be your architect? Have

you ever thought to consider

that maybe we’re together

because you’re nothing like

the rest?’ They’d look at me

but not really, focusing on my

smile, ignoring the broken

interior. Don’t expect anyone

to fix me, just thought that

we could fill each other.

Nice poem. I have read some other writings too of yours and I find myself short of words for their appreciation. I like what you write.

Hey! Nice one. Was wondering, is the last line supposed to be that we could fill up each other instead of , fill could up each other?

Ah poor Jacob, he must be an engineer at heart. What a difficult road to become an imagineer. Some people just love to double trouble, but we have better things to do.

Lovely idea, to fill rather than fix…much more satisfying
