Mishap

It was over the moment she locked lips

with those that weren’t his. Wasn’t planned,

 never really is. He wanted to know why she

reciprocated, did she even regret it? With a

 single tear she whispered, ‘I didn’t.’ A believer

that everything happened for a reason, this

mishap was part of the fabric. And with love

 that fueled his senses, he gave her another

chance. Unlike her, he would later regret it.
