She wants to drown in his influence, till she’s
completely lost in him. Scared to close her eyes,
he might be another figment. Clutching on to his
grasp, she plays with his fingers. Inching closer to
his ear, she whispers doubts about his existence.
‘And when I rise with the sun, will you be the
one I’m next to?’ Letting go of the night,
she prays to never wake alone.
