Cease

Written by Jacob Ibrag

There’s a difference between you and I.

For example, I won’t look back to reminisce after

we’re finished. You will not occupy space in my mind

making me grow weak as your memory spreads like an

infection. I won’t care about your well being or your state

of anything. And why would I care or give you an inkling

of attention, after all it was you that ceased to exist from we.

You who moved forward only to walk back to what this use

to be. Nothing else made sense for you because why would it?

Bliss was personified through the love we made underneath

natures sheets as the stars catered to our visual needs. I gave

you the purest parts of my being, and made you my reason

for breathing. After departing, all that was left was a shell of

my former personality. I didn’t know who I was, you took

that away from me. And yet here I stand years removed

from what had happened. Your voice a little older now,

pleading relationship resurrection. I tell you that I’m

spoken for, married to someone that fell in love

with my flaws. I thank you for leaving, for

letting me discover who I was.

E+w this is lovely. I will like to remake this, into my words, with same title, and a link back to you as acknowledgement of source. Deal? I just can’t let this go.

Oh, yes. Being able to thank the hurt for the bliss thereafter takes great patience and forgiveness of self.

Until this write, I didn’t realize I had stopped missing him and started living again. He will always be a sparkle in my eye as he raises his kids w/his wife @ his side. He breathed life into me, woke a part of me that has yet to be tamed; only by his voice alone……does he remain. I’ve been me down a long lonely path, to discover who I am, so i can offer my genuine self in totality. I wasn’t ready when he was. He’ll always be a soft spot in my heart for sure. A lot I’d like to thank him for ….yet, I believe he knows 🙂 Much Love & Ladybugs (most humble thank you for your reply)
