Sleeping

The heat kept him from sleeping. Sweat

distracting his need to lose attention. More

than that though, distant memory on replay.

Her lips locked with his. It’s what she said after

that had him stranded in need of elaboration.

 ‘You have me as much as gravity holds on

to stars.’ This was all about to fall apart.
