Explanation

As I left my parents home,

mother followed and called out my

name. Her voice dripped with worry as she

looked at me with those eyes only a mother could

share for a child. She asked me how I knew you were

the galaxy I forever wanted to float within. How was it

possible that in just several weeks time, we were already

finishing each others thoughts and sentences? I tried

to reply, and yet I couldn’t find the words. So all

I did was smile. You are much more than an

explanation, and I hope to never find

out why we make sense.
