As I watched the presidential debates last evening, I thought how little substance was shared and how much sidestepping and insane name calling happened. Smoke Screens and rabbit trails, all to keep us from seeing the reall thing.
You poem describes this exactly. America with its head in the sand! Avoiding the reality!
