Same

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Sensing forever in his intentions,

she holds her tongue and walks towards the

entrance. Confused by the deafening distance, he

takes hold of her hand and asks for an explanation.

Panning her attention from the door and to his ear,

she moves in closer and whispers, ‘even though I

forgave you, I just couldn’t put it out of my mind

to forget.’ Letting go in frustration, he asks her

what she did. ‘I left the whole world blind,

I guess you and I are the same.’

I read it three times, I could actually envision this taking place in my mind.
