Ambition

Written by Jacob Ibrag

I know

I’m searching

for something, just

not entirely sure what

it is yet. I’ll know when

I find it, this soul will

have at last realized

its ambition.

There is power in speaking life to our desires, even if it also means admitting our uncertainty. Through this concession, you have proven to be more self-aware than many. I hope you find it too. And I also believe you will know it when you see it, because you’re aware you’re looking. πŸ™‚

  6. This resonates with a certain common reflection that allows us all to get what it means to search for something. When you find it, you’ll know. Good job.

  9. Great poem here. I suspect, though, that as soon as you find out your ambition, it will have changed as a result of the search. I hope that is comforting.
