Poetry

Division

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Eve in the middle

of the city of trees. A time

when the eyes are absent in the

midst of an entrancing wind. It’s an

enveloping howl, a whirl that sifts into

the veins and invites itself into the dreams

of the sleeping. Fabricated smiles crumble

upon the arrival of the stranger while

disrupting the division between

reality and imagination.
