I have felt the beginning and I have been to the

end. And through my travels along spectral opposites,

I very much prefer to be in the center. Looking beyond

from an arch lends a sort of gratitude towards our finite

condition. So much focus is spent on tomorrow that

we tend to forget about the details in the middle.

I still haven’t seen the end.

I have no interest in it,
    truth be told.

Focus on the moment, revel in it and treasure it. I have always struggled with that. Find it near impossible, but when I do some mindfulness meditation, which I have done like twice, I can see what tremendous benefits that has. Makes you feel a lot lighter. It is often hard breaking out of a habit isn’t it? The default mode.

Agree. We can learn from the past. We can make decisions that will affect our future, and work towards them and we do that in the present. The ‘present’ is where we can make a difference. The post reminds me of a book I read some years ago called, ‘The Precious Present’ by Spencer Johnson M.D. He also wrote ‘Who Moved My Cheese?’

In this hectic world it is great to be reminded. Thank you! 🙂
