Crossing her arms, she asked

me to convince her to stay. What’s the

point though? She’s made up her mind and

erased me from it. Psyche defaulted to when

we were a simple contemplation rather

than a miscalculated scheme.

    Sometimes someone is not thinking clearly and makes a bad decision that they think is a good one. I wonder at what point do we default to self-preservation? Your post begs the reader to contemplate this.
