You departed for a little over an hour. When I placed

my head on your chest, there was nothing more than a howling

silence. Arrangements were being made and I don’t know, I kept asking

everyone in the room to wait. Even when the doctor called it at one thirteen

in the morning, I kept talking to you because I knew that somehow someway

you were listening. And I was right because here you are, staring at me as if

we’ve been separated for more than a century. And I need you to tell me,

where did you go and what took you so long to come back to we?
