Unison

‘It’s written in your eyes,’

he said as she stood in unison with

the wind. ‘You’re a lone traveler seeking to

find some kind of meaning. There isn’t any, not

really. And someday you’ll figure out that it’s all a

shill, a lie that was meant to keep you apart

from the world you’ve so desperately

wanted to fit from within.
