Receipt

Receipt

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Jitters down my spine. There’s a smudge of

green paint on the wall. She left a file, ending us on a

dotted line. Has that always been there? Can’t stop thinking

about my phone, the one I bought yesterday. Better camera, and

something about more memory for things we’d never want to let

go. She smiled and threw it against the floor. Fourteen day

return policy. Receipt. She always keeps the receipts.
