Arbitrary

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Groundhog day, I never asked for this.

Waking up to the same thing all over again. A

cycle of the most unfortunate series of events. And no

matter how much I try to stop it, it holds steady on repeat.

Don’t get to have you. Somehow, you see through we. Three

hundred ninety nine cycles later and we keep ending in

the same place. Maybe if I let go, this will all cease.

And yet if I let go, tomorrow is arbitrary.

    Names written in stone!

Useless organic forms, given to worms, all while the true inner being,

flows throughout space an time, seen within the inner mind…

No choice, dark-matter to drift in space, or

    perhaps evolving,

    to take our rightful place…

I’m going through this! Dying hope each day that remains the same… waiting for what doesn’t happen 💔 dying a little more inside each repeated day (at least that’s what these words expresses to me)
