Weaning

‘Endless screams. How can they continue to

sleep through it? It’s likely the medication.’ Placebos.

It isn’t a matter of reason other than not wanting to wake.

A cold pillow and a warm bed to stay in. Comfort beings

wasted and weaning. ‘They’ll have to listen.’ They’re

listening. They’ve always been listening.
