Promised

So you had to go, and I promised to

wait. That I’d make the distance a part of

our story. ‘I’ll write everyday.’ And I did, until

the time between we became all that remained.

Skype calls and Whatsapp messages. Faces in a

hurry, waiting for the conversation to finish.

    Yah I don’t buy that electronic conversations are real. The fast paced digital age is lying to many that they are connecting or are actually connected. But if you have no experience of anything else how could you know?
