Take them, the parts that helped you move
forward. No, I don’t need them. Not anymore. I had
borrowed them from birth, waiting to place them back
to where they belong. My pieces are out there, I know
it. Waiting to fit, searching for a wanting home.

Wow! Loved this post. I am planning to take part in a competition and the theme is Memories. So, I was wondering if you can check out my posts and tell me which one is the most relevant to memories as soon as possible. It would mean a lot to me if you’d help me out. 🌸

Searching for a wanting home… And gracefully into your open arms they’ve flown .. Happy ending… Tada!

I love this. As we grow into our feelings and ‘let go’ we really do try to find a place to put them and move forward in life. This is how I took your poem at least. And it was healing. Thank you.
