‘Let it take you.’ And what if I never
come back? ‘Pray that don’t. What waits will be
warm, a sensation close to being next to the sun. It’ll be
obvious to you then, that leaving wouldn’t have ever made
sense.’ What about my family? ‘They won’t miss you. It’ll be
as if you never existed. You’ll come up in conversation from
time to time and disappear as fast as your name has left
their lips.’ So, this is it then. ‘This isn’t even scratching
the surface. Not even the birth of your beginning.’

Over the years Eyes + Words has turned into a wonderful budding family of over fifteen thousand people across all platforms. It’s surreal and humbling to know that the art of poetry and story is alive and thriving. That being said, I hope that the creation of the Eyes + Words Writers Group serves as a vehicle and launch pad to help and support writers and the aspiring ones to keep manifesting words that many out there are searching for everyday. So go on and contribute, lets elevate together. Everyone is encouraged to share their experiences with anything involving writing.

It’s kinda tragic, if when you die, nobody remembers you, that would mean, that you’d never done anything to change someone else’s life, and that would be, a life lived in vain…
