Lately I’ve been feeling like a scientist. I’ve been
trying to ring in the past into my future. The good parts
minus everything that has never worked. There’s something
calming about the things you can’t change. These memories, my
foundation and stability. It’s something to build upon I guess. I don’t
know. Maybe I’m looking at it with rose colored glasses. Or, maybe it’s
a way to transport myself to a time where things kinda made sense.
Let’s be honest though, nothing ever makes sense in the present.
And maybe that’s the point. We don’t always know what we’re
in for or are a part of until enough time has passed for us
to appreciate it, even the parts that never worked.

It does seem that only after moments of time, do we truly value what it was. Great writing and audio.
