Derailed

I’ll follow her till I can’t see beyond the

iris. Blinded by empty promises. She grabs

hold of my attention, waving her finger in

my peripheral. Derailed, match made with

fated gravity. Going down, accepting this

new reality. She’s watching from the side,

smiling as another one hitches his last ride.
