Closer

Written by Jacob Ibrag

You’re tempted, more than you ever have been. You wouldn’t

do a thing though, it’s not who you are. Except maybe, a touch to

confirm a stance you have yet to test. Yes, a touch and nothing

more. He knows you’re taken, which you have mentioned not

more than fifteen minutes ago, then why does he persist to slide

that finger down your waist? You chalk it up to gentle play that

carries no harmful intent except to maybe further the discovery

of friendly boundaries. ‘Do you like the way my finger dances

down your dress?’ ‘He’s just kidding,’ you think as you ignore the

question. His fingers slowly crawl the surface of your collarbone

and then lips as he asks you again, ‘how about this?’ You close your

eyes and try say no but can’t as you whisper yes without your hearts

consent. He moves in closer, and asks you what you want. ‘Nothing,’

you tell him as your body embraces his pull. You receive a call as he

delivers a kiss. It’s your love, waiting while you try to finish.
