Natural

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Are we ever truly lost in this pale blue sphere of

a home, or is it the other way around? Entangling

ourselves over and over until we can’t figure a way

out. It isn’t enough to breathe and share space with

other beings, no. We must be involved emotionally

until it devours us whole. It’s the need for life to pick

us out of its teeth, one limb at a time. We rather be

chewed thoroughly and spit out than exist as seeds in

a barren garden, forever grazed by the natural desire

to take root and spread like a cancer.
