Keep

She whispered, he listened. She cried, he

 comforted. She laughed, he made faces. She sang

in the night sky, he sang chorus. She wanted more,

he walked away. She called out his name, his tears asked

 her to refrain. She asked why, he had nothing to say. She

swore to never forgive him, he swore to never love again.

He got sick, she got worried. He made hospital visits, she

ran to his side. He made her promise to go on without

him, she vowed to never give up. His soul found a new

home, her heart broke into a million parts. She had

a promise  to keep, ‘I’ll forever be yours.’
