Captive

Written by Jacob Ibrag

It’s harder to give up what

was than too embrace what is happening.

We’re in constant thought of blaming one another

rather than picking up the mantle. The truth is that, there

is no truth. No one is wrong and no one is right. It’s the anchor

we place in the past that keeps us going back. Imagine a life were

we accept responsibility for creating false stories while living

within actual reality. Imagine a life where these false

stories no longer held us captive. Would

you like to own a life like that?

  2. I love this, Jacob. My favorite line is “It’s the anchor we place in the past that keeps us going back.”
