‘Name?’ She’s looking at my identification while
asking me for my God given, well randomly chosen out of a
hat alias. So I lie. I tell her that the world is going to end, eventually.
She looks up from her lumpy nineties model computer screen and asks
me to, ‘come again sir? Look I’ve got my fifteen in twenty and I don’t need
this crazy talk especially from a guy named,’ I tell it’s just a joke. Not really
though. I mean it is ending, I whisper. It’s a slow descend and it’s not a true
collective. ‘Collective?’ Collective. It’s a singular event if you think about
it, I tell her. ‘When the world ends, we go al-.’ A single shot goes
off. Someone exits. Bits of my frontal lobe in her hair.
I’m still conscious so, I finish my sentence.
I don’t know what it is about your work, but I really appreciate and enjoy reading it. It’s very different.

I love this!!!! It never ceases to amaze me how much you can inspire and provoke in such short bursts. If brevity is the soul of wit, you are the wittiest person I know, by far.

Question;
are you afraid to die?
Also, do you know the collective?

Hey Chris, I am not. Are you talking about the collective in this piece?

ifinn you believe in god, then the rest will make no sense..
My belief is we evolve, moving into the collective, however i also believe not all get to this point, some never wake an become dark matter floating throughout space an time…
Therefore, i don’t believe in any kind of god, from any religion…

Thank you :). To be honest, I had no idea what this piece was going to be, it was a word after word journey.
