Remembering playing in the gutters when I was a child
Watching everything being caught up in the water and swept away
Creating dams and diversions to direct the flow or catch floating objects
Beginning to understand the grander nature of impermanence
Knowing one day I would return home to the Stars

Hope is a powerful thing! A double edged sword. It comes with the power to elevate and to pull down. The gutters is where hope is put to the test and dreams are made or made to fade.
Gorgeous piece!
