Tangible

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Cold air. Figurative sweater.

Tongue grinding into teeth. Frictional

compensation. Shivering. Goosebumps forming

on the back of your neck. Running wasn’t a good plan.

Hindsight. Far from home, far from any shelter. She begged

you to put on a sweater. Walking. Face curled into t-shirt.

Tangible regrets. Unable to feel your toes or fingers.

I love the poems & poetry that you submit, but I was just wondering why it is reblogged all day?

The imagery of the cold and discomfort is very vivid.
