Nosebleeds

Written by Jacob Ibrag

Nosebleeds. I get these headaches in my dreams. It’s dark

and light. I’m frightened and excited. The truth feels close and that’s

all there is. A feeling I’ve chased, something always known and missed. And

when I wake, the pillow’s bare. Dry to the core, I draw a cold bath. I see red in

the river. A drip from my nose, and she’s there. I’ve got this headache, and

she’s still here. The truth feels close, and nothing else matters.

  1. Good to read you again!

You did a great job at putting one word after another here!

  2. Sometimes, it’s just, easier, to FACE the memories, instead of trying to escape from it…
